For a few years there were situations where renting a home was a better financial solution than owning a home. Rents were pretty inexpensive and owning a home involves more than just a mortgage payment. Homeowners have upkeep on their property, they pay taxes, association fees in some instances, and repairs to the home.
First time buyers are usually the ones who pay the most attention to these types of posts. After all, they have never purchased a home before, so they want to know what they should do to prepare. But this post isn’t just for them.
